10th Dan — Chief Instructor, Bukenkan India

Hanshi S. Rajamani has practiced Shorin Ryu Karate from 1975. Trained under Hanshi Katsuo Shiroma in Okinawa, he is the first and only 10th Dan Red Belt holder in India.

He also trained in Kobudo under Hanshi Katsuo Shiroma and continues to pass on the traditional Okinawan weapon arts to students in India.

Ryukyu Kobudo

Ryukyu Kobudo refers to the weapon systems of Okinawan martial arts. Ryukyu Kobudo was developed and systemized by O'Sensei Taira Shinken, who organized and codified the traditional weapon arts of Okinawa.

Hanshi Katsuo Shiroma trained in Kobudo under Hanshi Eisuke Akamine, who was the successor of O'Sensei Taira Shinken. The Bukenkan dojo also trains students in the art of Kobudo.

Hanshi S. Rajamani and Kyoshi S. R. Arun also trained in Kobudo under Hanshi Katsuo Shiroma and continue to train students in the art of Kobudo in India.
